Boat Trips in Antalya with Kids: Choosing the Right Tour for Your Family

Staying at a resort in Kemer, Lara, Belek or Konyaaltı with children, you will probably want at least one day on the water. This guide matches each of our boat tours to different ages and energy levels, explains how children's prices work and lists what is worth packing for little ones.

A family guide to choosing the right Antalya boat tour for children of every age

Matching the boat to your children

Parents at our hotel pickups often share one worry: a bored four-year-old on a six-hour trip. It depends on the boat. An Antalya boat trip with kids goes well when the tour fits how your children actually spend a day, not how you hope they will.

Pirate boat: for children who want action

If yours are already restless by the hotel pool, the pirate boat is the easy choice. The wooden ship has a costumed crew, music, a foam party, face painting and a treasure hunt, plus swim stops and a buffet lunch. It sails along the Antalya coast past the Düden waterfall from Lara or Konyaaltı harbour, and the hotel transfer is included.

Suluada: shallow water, early start

The beach at Suluada has white sand and very shallow turquoise water, so small children can paddle near the shore. The catch is timing. Pickup is around 07:50 in Konyaaltı, 09:00 in Kemer and 09:30 in Tekirova (earlier from Belek and Lara), the boat leaves Adrasan at 10:00, and you are back at about 18:30. Lunch is cooked on board: grilled fish or chicken, salad, fruit and unlimited tea. Shade on the island is limited, so treat the boat as your base. See the Suluada boat tour page.

Calmer days for toddlers and grandparents

With a baby in tow, or three generations together, the relaxing boat tour from Kundu Marina is gentler: no foam party or DJ and a maximum of 50 guests. It lasts 5–6 hours with two swim stops, one near the Düden waterfall, and lunch and soft drinks are included.

The sunset boat tour is shorter and cooler, with dinner on deck and one swim stop. Prefer to set nap times yourself? A private yacht follows your own route and pace, price on request.

Children's prices and safety

Our children's prices are simple: ages 0–3 travel free and ages 4–10 get 25% off. Tours start from €35, and the price list shows each trip. Children's life jackets are on board on every tour, and we ask kids to keep them on whenever they are in the water.

Packing for a family day at sea

  • Hats, high-factor sun cream (reapply after each swim) and a rash vest
  • Swim nappies for toddlers and water shoes
  • Spare clothes, a towel, snacks and a waterproof bag
  • A light top for the air-conditioned morning drive and the evening breeze

For seasickness, sit in the middle or outside and watch the horizon; a pharmacist can suggest remedies for children. Our Suluada packing list goes into more detail, the FAQs cover common questions, and pickup times are confirmed on WhatsApp the evening before.
