Cancellation & Refund Policy

Flexibility for your trip: this page explains the refund and cancellation conditions of Suluada Boat Tour, what happens in the event of force majeure, and what we expect from our guests so that every tour runs smoothly.

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for every Suluada boat tour booking.

• 15 days or more before the tour: full refund, no deduction.
• Between 15 and 7 days: 35% of the total tour price is charged.
• Less than 7 days: 50% of the total tour price is charged.
• Less than 24 hours, no-show or late arrival: no refund.

Tour Operations and Force Majeure

At Suluada Boat Tour, we want to state our responsibilities clearly in the event of unforeseen and extraordinary circumstances. Despite all due care and precautions, situations defined as force majeure may occur that prevent package tours from starting, continuing or being completed. In such cases, tour cancellations or programme changes may become necessary. Suluada Boat Tour therefore cannot be held directly liable for breaches of contract or non-performance arising from force majeure events. Such circumstances may include:

• Natural disasters and epidemics: earthquakes, fires, volcanic eruptions, floods, storms, hurricanes, dense fog, avalanches, lightning strikes, nuclear or chemical disasters, and widespread epidemics.
• Unforeseen extraordinary events: states of war or mobilisation that prevent international travel, public uprisings, acts of terrorism, sabotage, civil unrest, strikes, or government sanctions and embargoes.

In these situations, Suluada Boat Tour's responsibility is to act as required by the contract and to inform you as soon as possible. You will be notified of any changes to the programme or of alternative arrangements.

Your Responsibilities and Cancellation Procedures

At Suluada Boat Tour, we believe that a pleasant trip also depends on you meeting your own responsibilities. It is your responsibility to arrive on time at the designated meeting point for the tour or activity you have purchased.

The earlier you cancel, the more you get back – no refund within 24 hours of the tour.

If you need to cancel, the following refund rules apply to standard tours, depending on how long before the tour date you cancel:

No refund is issued for no-shows, late arrivals or cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour. Date changes are treated as cancellations.

Different conditions may apply to discounted or special products, and documented serious illness is treated as an exceptional circumstance – see Article 3.2 of our Tour Sales and Distance Service Contract. These rules are essential to ensure that travel plans run smoothly for both you and the other participants.

By visiting, using or registering on our website, you expressly acknowledge and agree that you have read and understood the terms and conditions set out in this agreement, that you are bound by them, and that you will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Our Right to Make Changes

Suluada Boat Tour reserves the right to modify these conditions at any time. Any changes take effect immediately once they are published on the website. If you continue to use our website after changes have been published, this means you accept the new terms. We therefore recommend checking the current conditions when you plan your trip.
