Adrasan Travel Guide: The Quiet Port Behind the Suluada Boat Trips

Every one of our Suluada trips starts in Adrasan, a green bay on the Lycian coast with pine-clad mountains rising behind it. Most guests only pass through the harbour on their way to the boat, but the village deserves a closer look. This short guide introduces the place where your day on the water begins.

Location

You will find Adrasan on the coast of the Kumluca district, south of Kemer and not far from the ancient sites of Olympos. A small river flows into the bay, and a long beach follows the curve of the shore. Buildings here are kept low, so the village feels relaxed and local, a world away from the large resort towns.

How to reach the village

Most people arrive from the Antalya area along the coast road, which runs past Kemer before it turns off towards the bay. Guests on our Suluada boat tour from Adrasan don't need to think about this at all, because hotel pickup is included and we bring you back to your hotel in the evening.

Adrasan harbour

From Adrasan harbour, boats head out to Suluada, Porto Ceneviz, Sazak Bay and Akseki Bay. Boarding normally begins a little before 10:00, and the boats are back in port in the afternoon.

Worth a visit nearby

  • Adrasan beach: a long sweep of sand and pebbles that rarely feels crowded.
  • Olympos and Çıralı: ruins tucked away in the forest and a protected beach, both a short drive away.
  • Gelidonya Lighthouse: a well-loved walk on the Lycian Way with wide views over the sea.
  • Porto Ceneviz: a bay enclosed by cliffs that you can only reach by boat. Details are on our Porto Ceneviz boat trip page.

Practical notes

  • Your phone will work well in the village, though signal drops in some of the coves.
  • There are only a few cash machines, so bring some cash with you.
  • Nights are quiet. If you stay over, the restaurants along the river are a lovely spot for dinner.
